VISION:

To develop the branding for a new winery restaurant, pizzeria and bar called The Fancy Cow in Marlborough. The restaurant name was a nod to the owner’s highland cow, Fanta. The illustration style logo design of the cow was in keeping with the building design with a palette of industrial and natural materials in the interior and its links back to the earth.

PATH:

Whilst the building is modern and industrial the client wanted the branding to add warmth and exude a family friendly ambiance, with patrons being equally comfortable having a take away pizza or ordering from the sit down menu. It needed to be classy and warm but not pretentious. In addition to the illustrative style logo a TFC logo was designed, reminiscent of a branding iron.
