VISION:

Sublime Nooks, a new Hawke’s Bay boutique airbnb, that as it’s name suggests, is tucked away down a quiet cul de sac in Havelock North with glorious views of Te Mata Peak. The owners have created 2 cosy, comfortable nooks surrounded by nature and emanating peace and tranquility. The logo design need to reflect this. It was inspired by the rising sun over Te Mata Peak, that the accommodation faces and the shape of the leaves of the Kauri tree that line the driveway.

PATH:

The arch and curve in the logo references the peak, whilst at the same time exuding a feeling of comfort, warmth and security. The radiating leaf shapes the rising sun. The subtle art deco influence in the design and colours is a nod to the art deco history of the region.
